He is the author of Node.js, MongoDB, and AngularJS Web Development, Learning AngularJS, jQuery, and JavaScript Phrasebook, and Sams Teach Yourself jQuery and JavaScript in 24 Hours.
Brendan Dayley is a university student majoring in computer science. He is an avid web application developer who loves learning and implementing the latest and greatest technologies. He recently attended Dev-Mountain’s Immersive Web Development program, specializing in web application development and AngularJS in particular. He has written a number of web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS and is excited about the future of these technologies.

Too Many Errors

This is a good book to learn the subject matter IF you're willing to put up with all the bad references.
At some point, the examples used were heavily modified and a lot of the references were not updated throughout the instructional text or the review and quiz sections.
This doesn't stop the book from being useful, but it does make it frustrating to work with and I'll think twice before buying another book from this publisher.

Well organized and thorough. The instructions to set up a local dev environment are very clear. The hands on examples reinforce the information in the chapter. This is a great book, very easy to work with. Highly recommended.
