After the basic settings tour Doug then gets down to the heart of this great camera: the custom settings and focus system. His explanation is first class and he explains how various custom settings are related to each other. All in all a great read. Camera in one hand and reader in the other and dig in.

For anyone who is not a pro or very well versed in photography, Douglas Klostermann's book about the world's highest megapixel DSLR camera is a must read. The author presents everything you need to know about this highly sophisticated device in a very clear and straightforward language with lots of examples and sample pictures. You can think of this book as the User Manual expanded to include detail descriptions of the menus and functions offered by the camera, plus instruction on using advanced techniques that will allow you to get the maximum out of your investment.
I highly recommend this to any amateur photographer looking to improve their skills when shooting with Canon's newest 5DS/5DS R camera.
